Adjoining houses combined to create impressive family home
The clients' brief was to extend their established family home into the recently acquired adjacent property in this early Victorian terrace within the Barnsbury Conservation Area.
The key element of the project is a highly-glazed full-width rear extension which integrates the accommodation of the two previously separate properties and links the internal spaces of the house with the garden.
The basement has been opened up to create an open-plan kitchen/dining/family room across the full footprint of the combined houses.
